Built Right History

The Company, Built Right Homes, was founded in 2009 by Brandon Serbay. A die-hard Yankees fan originally from upstate NY, Brandon has called Virginia home for nearly two decades now. In a home he built himself, Brandon lives with his wife, Erica, and three children, Avery, Aubrey, and Lincoln.

With Built Right Homes, Brandon uses his skill and experience to help homeowners realize their dreams through custom builds and exterior and interior renovations. Our team

Built Right Homes was founded in 2009, by Brandon Serbay. A die-hard Yankees fan originally from upstate New York, Brandon has called Virginia home for nearly two decades. Residing in a home he built himself, Brandon lives with his wife Erica and their three children Avery, Aubrey, and Lincoln. With Built Right Homes, Brandon uses his skill and experience to help homeowners realize their dreams through custom builds and exterior and interior renovations. When Dave is not making your dreams come true, he is living his own. His beautiful wife Jeannie, who keeps him straight and their two awesome children, Ethan and Teagan, who keep this old guy young at heart. Dave enjoys golf with his buddies, a medium-rare chargrilled steak and an ice-cold beverage. He is sitting by his phone waiting for your call.

Steve Flanagan has been actively involved in residential construction, land development, and real estate investment in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C. since 1982. He has been a Class A licensed builder in each of those jurisdictions. Steve grew up in Washington D.C. but chose Fredericksburg as his home in 1990 and resides in the City with his wife, Beth Flanagan, a Mary Washington alum. Steve was on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters for six years and was a Big Brother to his Little Brother Matthew from October 2007 until Matthew moved to Ohio in 2016. Steve is the Immediate Past President and is a current Board Member of Kiwanis of Fredericksburg. He has also volunteered with Senior Visitors since 2007. Steve has one child. His daughter Kelly lives and works in Virginia Beach. Steve is also privileged to be Stepdad (Bonus Dad) to Beth’s three sons, Andrew, Adam, and Noah. Steve is proud to be a member of the Built Right Homes and Remodeling team.
